Annoying Vampires

Seriously?!...'Twilight' ur annoying me. Now a makeup line?

So there are 2 new makeup lines coming out inspired by the movie 'Twilight'. In my opinion 'Twilight' has nothing on the HBO Series 'TrueBlood', but I digress, lol this whole vamp thing is getting crazy. Anyway the lines will be called Luna Twilight and Volturi, the lines will consist of color pallettes to resemble the vamps like "Alice", "Victoria", "Rosalie", and "Bella". Obviously with makeup lines like these, they had to have everything very dark and rich so some of the colors even resemble blood. SMH I must admit, I am a little curious but still, 'Twilight' you are carrying lol.

3 THINGS ALL WOMEN...

There are some women who wear makeup,there are some women who say "Hell no" to the thought of putting makeup on and then there are those who just don't know how to apply make-up and stick to little stuff like maybe an eyeliner or mascara.

Regardless of where you stand, there are just things that have to give, these are three important fixes that I think no woman should go without.

Look at this picture on the left, all I can say is "Dammm" smh those lips are horrid and dry. A woman should never let her lips come close to this dry, its ridiculous! Prevent it by using a nice gloss or chapstick with a little tint of color. It makes a world of a difference when a smile is complete by appealing kissable lips. For women who don't bother with the glossy stuff, try M.A.C. lip conditioner!

Next, there is no damn reason why the A.C. is on full blast and you are looking like you just ran a mile in the tropics [like the woman above]. All I'm going to say is girl "P.Y.T." (Pull Yourself Together) LOL, but on a serious note, a lot of women experience a point when they look flushed and hot. Change this in seconds by blotting your face with a Girls with Attitude beauty tissue and your face will be back to it's normal matte self!


Last but not least, look at the woman with the gross red lips. I know for a fact you don't want to look like that girl! She definitely tried to go without mascara,and that is a no-no especially for those who barely have lashes. You will look tired and your eyes give off the vibes of "BORING" so to avoid this use a great lengthening mascara of your choice just to give yourself a little "wake-me up". Ladies we have to give these celebs and models a run for their money, and stay in tip-top shape at all times because the sidewalk is our runway!

P.I.M.P

"Fiddy" is coming from left field and giving us something that I would have never expected from someone as hardcore as him. Reports say that rapper-mogul 50 Cent is finishing a new cosmetics line for men, which will include moisturizers and health supplements.

Yup, I was surprised too ... but at second thought, his skin has been giving 'flawless flow' lately. A source says that "his range will be for the guy who likes to be pampered, but the supplements will make it more butch." 50 is definitely giving me some Diddy dapper swagger with this one.

She's Smurfy!

I was waiting for this collection to drop only to find, it's out already! I've really been hitting the books too long. . .


Anyways, I've been waiting and the new Smurfy Too Faced collection has been released by Sephora. It features the lovely Smurfette, the one & only female Smurf that every male smurf finds attractive. The collection contains a face powder, eye shadow quad, lip gloss, and liquid eyeliners. Why a collection to her?

Too Faced co-founder Jerrod Blandino was inspired to create the line after waking up at 2 a.m. wondering, “What the hell happened to Smurfette?” He decided that she was in the hills around Los Angeles “hiding from paparazzi,” he says. “She is the most Too Faced cartoon character ever created,” he enthuses. The So Smurfy Eyeshadow quad ($32.50) features four colors: pink, taupe, blue, and a golden brown. The blue has a picture of Smurfette in the shadow, while the pink features a flower, because we know how she loves those.

The So Smurfy Illumination Face Powder ($26) features illumination that is sheer, but that's expected of a product used for highlighting. Especially like Smurfette's portrait in the powder.

The Mood Swing Emotionally Activated Lipgloss ($18.50) didn't really work for me, but it might be because your body temperature can't be anything BUT cold right now in NY. Even in the store, I was freezing to death. Smh. It's suppose to change into different shades of pink depending on your body temperature. It reminds me of those mood rings from 4th grade that your mom said would turn your fingers green.

The Smurfy-Eyed Liquid Eyeliner ($17.50) comes in two colors: Feelin' Smurfy [Opal] and Smurf You (blue). The blue is more vivid than I expected, but that's a good thing. The opal showed on me, but it depends on your skin tone. If you're fair, I'd say go for the blue, the opal barely shows up. Overall, nothing too exciting and way too much glitter for me.

Go to your local Sephora and find out what you think yourself. If nothing else, it brings back childhood memories.

Sephora's Got Competition!

CVS Pharmacy is talking about a revolution.The drugstore chain has drafted plans to open upscale beauty emporiums — about the size of a Sephora store — filled with previously untouchable department store brands. I can't wait to see them start popping up!

The store will be called Beauty 360.

According to WWD, The first concept store is slated to open by the end of the year in a major East Coast city and another will open a few weeks later on the West Coast. 100 stores are expected to open within the next year.
