Born and raised in Cleveland, Scott Mescudi's career took off after he moved to Brooklyn [home of the greatest] and became affiliated with Fool's Gold, the label of DJs A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs. Kid Cudi's debut single, "Day 'n' Nite," became an online favorite in 2008.
Kid Cudi brings a welcome twist to rap and hip-hop as a whole. I see real potential for dudes like him and Charles Hamilton. There will def be more about them.
Cudi has also been dubbed one of Rolling Stones Indie Hip-Hop artists of 08. Stay tuned as Kid Cudi plans the release of his full-length album debut.
