Karl Lagerfeld in Female Form

That was basically the gist of his collection. And I kind of wish he was a woman now. I would love to see him tipping around in some of these outfits at random parties! Once again, KL blows me away. As a designer for three different (and major) fashion lines, you would think there would be some overlap. Surprisingly, I've never seen it. Lagerfeld designs with his message in mind and it's not only practical, but showstopping.

The show was filled with feminine-masculine, futuristic, asymmetrical outfits. The belts seemed to be large and in charge. Nipping in clothes here and there to create the perfect silhouette. Erik Halley designed some body jewelry for the models that ended up looking a lot like random lace parts all over. But this only served to enhance the outfits. Go figure! Some the silver outfits took me back to the early days of Spain. I was waiting for some conquistadors to pop out of the shadows. A show to die for once again thanks to Mr. KL.P.S. - Is that bag not chic enough for you?
